What it is
ISO 45001 covers how a site identifies hazards, controls risk, trains workers, reports incidents and involves employees in safety decisions. It replaced OHSAS 18001 and is audited by an accredited certification body.
What it means for your order
It is the document behind the safety section of an audit or supplier questionnaire: a working system for preventing injuries rather than a policy statement — relevant when your own code of conduct requires certified suppliers.
